Role Overview **updated Requisition**

The Product Manager is an integral part of the product management team with direct responsibility for the success of Unified Compliance’s products. The Product Manager acts as the voice of the customer to help identify opportunities to evolve Unified Compliance’s product offerings solving real-world challenges, increasing customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. The Product Manager works cross-functionally across product design, engineering, product marketing, sales, and customer success, bringing differentiable products to market. The product owner collaborates closely with product leadership on feature prioritization and execution of the product roadmap. 

 

Position Responsibilities 

      • Gather, refine, organize, and prioritize product ideas and bug fixes to identify the most impactful feature set for customer adoption and customer satisfaction 
      • Build user story maps, swim lane diagrams, and other documents to help communicate product requirements and direction 
      • Create epics and stories in Aha! and Jira providing business rationale, context, and expected results to ensure the engineering and product teams are aligned on the “what” and the “why” 
      • Continually prepare, groom, and refine the product backlog for sprint planning sessions 
      • Collaborate with product leadership, designers, engineers, and architects on solution designs 
      • Own the complete process of defining product requirements, collaborating with engineering, communicating the benefits to customer facing teams, and following up on customer adoption 
      • Contribute to and improve the ever-evolving product team’s tools, methodologies, and processes raising visibility of product direction and increasing efficiencies in the overall software development lifecycle 
      • Partner with customer success and product marketing on measuring and growing feature adoption 
      • Conduct product enablement for sales, marketing, and support teams by conducting product demonstrations and release presentations highlighting use cases and benefits 
      • Meet with key customers and partners to help identify and document unmet needs and additional market opportunities

Ideal Qualifications: 

      • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
      • At least 4 years of experience as a product manager within a B2B SaaS environment
      • Solid understanding of the complete product lifecycle and software development 
      • In-depth understanding of agile methodologies and ability to learn and adjust as required 
      • Ability to create a cohesive product journey 
      • Skilled in software tools to create low-fidelity wireframes, user story maps, process diagrams, and product requirements 
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
      • Ability to problem-solve and multi-task 
      • Preferred background or experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) 
      • Self-starter with an ability to work both independently and within groups 

 

Physical Requirements: 

      • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
      • Prolonged periods of using computer keyboard, mouse  
      • Prolonged exposure to computer monitors and lighting

Salary:  $115,000+ commensurate with experience
